School news:

  • We would like to welcome you all back to the start of a new school year. A special welcome to our 30 Junior Infants and to all those who have joined us in different classes throughout the school. We hope that you will enjoy your time in Scoil Mhuire.

  •  

    We would like to congratulate all 5th and 6th class pupils who participated in the St. Colman’s / Loreto blitz on Wednesday, 26th September.

  •  

    Well done to 3rd class pupils who took part in a football blitz in Mallow GAA complex on Friday, 28th September.

  •  

    Best of luck to all those who plan to participate in school blitzes and Sciath na Scol in the coming weeks.

  •  

    Permission letters to participate in these events must be signed and returned to the school.

  •  

    The ‘Witches ‘n Wizards Walk’ will take place on Thursday, 25th October. Pupils will meet at the pitch at 9.20 and will walk down to the school accompanied by the teachers. Pupils may dress up in their Halloween costumes on the day.

  •  

    Confirmation date has been fixed for Tuesday, 9th April 2019.

  •  

    First Holy Communion date has been fixed for 18th May 2019.

  •  

    We would like to welcome Áine Gubbins, Maeve Dooley, Orla Carroll and Miryam Kevany to Scoil Mhuire and we look forward to working with you.

  •  

    We would like to welcome Eleanor Dalziel back following the birth of baby Conor.

  •  

    A key and keyring was found on the road. Please contact the office.

    Good wishes to all for the year ahead.

 

Volunteers :

We hope to continue the CAPER (Child & Parent Enjoying Reading Scheme) which has been an immense success for the last six years. Volunteers welcome but all volunteers (i.e. providing transport, swimming supervision, CAPER, GAA, etc) must be Garda Vetted. Please come to the school office for Garda Vetting Form. If you get vetting now you will not have to renew it for 5 years. Thank you.
